The Fourteenth Winner of the Milk Bowl Memories Contest Announced

Thunder Road has announced this week’s (Wednesday, July 11) winner in the Milk Bowl Memories Contest as Brittany Tullar of Williamstown, VT. Tullar is the fourteenth winner of a pair of tickets to the 50th Annual People’s United Bank Milk Bowl scheduled for Sunday, September 30.

Tullar’s memory is of the 2000 Milk Bowl (won by Phil Scott) and she was 11 years old at the time: “My favorite Milk Bowl memory is from the year 2000. I was 11 years old and I was at the races with my grandparents. Tracie Bellerose was my favorite driver. I went to the races every single week with my grandparents, dressed from head to toe in my Bellerose gear (including my blue fisherman’s hat with a big white 2 on it!). I was stylin’! At this Milk Bowl, Tracie raced “neck-in-neck” with Phil Scott in segment one. I remember cheering so loud and standing up fist pumping, hoping she would win! Phil ended up beating Tracie by just a few feet, but I had a great time cheering for her and I will never forget the wonderful memories that I shared with my grandparents at Thunder Road! I still enjoy coming to the track every week with my boyfriend, Justin Hart, and cheering on our friend Chip Grenier!”

The fifteenth of 20 winners in the Milk Bowl Memories Contest will be announced next Wednesday, July 18. That winner will receive another pair of Milk Bowl tickets. All 20 ticket winners from now until Wednesday, August 22 will then be eligible for two (2) season passes for the 2013 season at Thunder Road. That winner will be decided based on a poll on the Thunder Road website between the 20 memory winners.
