12th Milk Bowl Memory Contest Winner

The Twelfth Winner of the Milk Bowl Memories Contest Announced

Thunder Road has announced this week’s (Wednesday, June 27) winner in the Milk Bowl Memories Contest as Tela Molloy of Berlin, VT. Molloy is the twelfth winner of a pair of tickets to the 50th Annual People’s United Bank Milk Bowl scheduled for Sunday, September 30.

Molloy’s memory is of the 2002 Milk Bowl (won by Dave Pembroke) and she was 45 years old at the time: “My favorite Milk Bowl was in 2002. The winner that year was Dave Pembroke. That race was so exciting I couldn’t stay seated! Dave was racing against so many great racers that afternoon it just made the whole event a blast! One of his fellow racers was Cooper MacRitchie (a friend of mine) so I was rooting for both he and Dave. As we know Dave was victorious and his 23 point total was the highest winning score in Milk Bowl history. Definitely my favorite Milk Bowl race!!!”

The thirteenth of 20 winners in the Milk Bowl Memories Contest will be announced next Wednesday, July 4. That winner will receive another pair of Milk Bowl tickets. All 20 ticket winners from now until Wednesday, August 22 will then be eligible for two (2) season passes for the 2013 season at Thunder Road. That winner will be decided based on a poll on the Thunder Road website between the 20 memory winners.
