The Eleventh Winner of the Milk Bowl Memories Contest Announced

Thunder Road has announced this week’s (Wednesday, June 20) winner in the Milk Bowl Memories Contest as Michael Tillotson of Hinesburg, VT. Tillotson is the eleventh winner of a pair of tickets to the 50^th Annual People’s United Bank Milk Bowl scheduled for Sunday, September 30.

Tillotson’s memory is of the 2010 Milk Bowl (won by Joey Polewarczyk, Jr.) and he was 46 years old at the time: “In 2010, Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. won the Milk Bowl. I’ve grown up on racing in Vermont. Dave Dion was my favorite driver, so with Joey being from Hudson, NH too, it was a perfect fit. In 2010, my cousin passed away and Joey ran in memory of him. Then in the pits after the Milk Bowl, Joey and his dad had me take a picture with Joey and I was holding the Milk Bowl. It was a dream come true and a day that I will remember for the rest of my life.”

The twelfth of 20 winners in the Milk Bowl Memories Contest will be announced next Wednesday, June 27. That winner will receive another pair of Milk Bowl tickets. All 20 ticket winners from now until Wednesday, August 22 will then be eligible for two (2) season passes for the 2013 season at Thunder Road. That winner will be decided based on a poll on the Thunder Road website between the 20 memory winners.
