FECTEAU TAKES WIN IN FLAG-TO-FLAG CASELLA DASH
Morrisville's Pete Fecteau set a torrid pace in Saturday's flag-to-flag Casella Waste Management Trophy Dash and went on to win his first feature of the season at Thunder Road. Fecteau, a former Late Model Champion at the Barre stock car oval, started on the outside of the front row. Georgia's Ryan Nolin, a rookie competitor, challenged the leader over the final circuits of the 50-lap event but was not able to get the veteran to make a mistake. Chad Wheeler, of Waterbury Center, who led the point standings before last Thursday's double point Times Argus Mid-Season Championship race, gained back some of what he had lost with a third place finish.

STANDINGS SHAKEN-UP FOLLOWING DOUBLE POINT RACES
MID-SEASON CHAMPIONSHIPS PUT TWO NEW DRIVERS ON TOP
Thunder Road's Times Argus Mid-Season Championship race has a history of shaking up the point standings at the high banked, quarter-mile oval and Thursday's event was no exception. In two of the track's four divisions, the driver sitting atop the point standings entering the event is no longer on top following the seventh race of the season.

LOWREY CLAIMS MID-SEASON CHAMPIONSHIPS - MICHAUD TAKES POINT LEAD
Charlotte's Rich Lowrey came from the rear of the 23-car starting field in Thursday's Late Model Times Argus Mid-Season Championship race to win his second consecutive feature at Barre's Thunder Road. As the previous event's winner, the veteran Chevrolet competitor was relegated to the final starting position on the grid. Although Lowrey professed in Victory Lane that his car was tight (it didn't want to turn), he was able to pass cars by running the high groove around the high-banked quarter-mile oval.
