THREE'S A CHARM - FATHER'S DAY GIFTS ABOUND AT THUNDER ROAD
BARRE, VT -- . For Cris Michaud, Mike Bailey, Eric Johnson and Chris Hodgdon the third time was a charm at Barre's Thunder Road Sunday as the quartet all delivered first place trophies on Father's Day the Green Mountain Office Machines/Imagistics Trophy Dash. Originally scheduled for Thursday, then Friday, the event was finally held under near perfect Father's Day skies at the "Nation's Site of Excitement.

CUP STAR SCHRADER TO RACE THUNDER ROAD
BARRE, VT -- For the first time since the late 1970s, a NEXTEL Cup star will come to Barre's Thunder Road to race. Ken Schrader, a native of Fenton, MO will pilot an ACT Late Model at the high-banked quarter-mile oval in the Fisher/Federated Trophy Dash on Thursday, July 21.

FATHERS WILL WIN AT THUNDER ROAD - TAKE HIM (AND THE FAMILY) TO THE RACES ON SUNDAY!
BARRE, VT - Fathers (and other race fans) will be the big winners on Sunday (June 19) when the Green Mountain Office Machines Trophy Dash takes to Thunder Road's high banks following a second rain-out. Scheduled for Thursday, June 16, the original date and the Friday make-up both fell to persistent rain across the region. Post time Sunday will be 5:00 pm. Spectator gates will open at 3:00 pm. The pit gate will open for competitors at 2:00 pm.
Tickets from the June 9 Casella Waste Management Trophy Dash, which was also rained out, will be honored Sunday as well.
"I'll be ready to go," stated NAPA Sportsman point leader Shawn Fleury, "The car's been loaded for two days. The forecast looks great for Sunday and I know everyone wants to get on the track. It's especially important for us (the Sportsmen) since we have the WDEV 100 lap Series race next Thursday."
All four of Thunder Road's divisions will be in action.
