THREE OF FOUR ARE FIRST TIME WINNERS ON THUNDER ROAD'S FINAL THURSDAY

Additionally, Cris Michaud from Williamstown was crowned as the 2005 "King of the Road" for his third Late Model Championship. LESAGE POSTS FIRST WIN OF SEASON IN A NIGHT OF FIRSTS
Jerry Lesage of Winooski cruised to an easy victory, his first of the season, in Thursday's VT State Employees Credit Union Trophy Dash at Thunder Road. Lesage started on the pole and set a torrid pace during the early laps of the 50-lap main event. Outside pole sitter, Jamie Fisher of Shelburne, tried to stay with Lesage when the green flag flew but found his car preferred the low groove. He was content to settle into second.
