With the help of his family team, Brooks Clark had the best season of his career in 2013. He used two feature wins to secure a career high 4th place in the final Thunder Road Late Model standings. With his first win at the beginning of June, he put the division on notice that he was a force to be reckoned with as he transformed into a seasoned veteran. We can expect more wins and contention for a title from Clark in 2014.

He stayed near the top of the standings all season, while earning a division high 15 top tens in his 17 starts. He has to be among the early favorites for the title battle in 2014.

The “Flying Farmer” Gary Mullen worked his way back into the top ten in 2013 with a 4th place effort. The former Allen Lumber Street Stock Champion capped off a stong finish to the season with a streak of top tens including a runner-up finish on Labor Day. What’s more impressice is he did it in the same car he used to win the championship back in 2009.
