VP Racing to Present Vermont Governor’s Cup
Officials with the American Canadian Tour (ACT) and Thunder Road Speedbowl today announced VP Small Engine Fuel will be the presenting sponsor of the 35th running of the Vermont Governor’s Cup 150. VP Small Engine Fuel, an ethanol-free fuel formulated by VP Racing Fuels, provides easier, more dependable starts for chain saws, generators, leaf/snow blowers, string trimmers and other outdoor power equipment.
“As the official supplier of race fuel for Thunder Road and all the ACT sanctioned events in the Northeast and Canada, we are happy to be involved with the prestigious Vermont Governor’s Cup,” said Jim Kelly, Regional Manager-Eastern North America for VP Racing Fuels. “Northern New England and the Canadian province of Quebec are ideal markets for VP Small Engine Fuel. The Vermont Governor’s Cup provides a great opportunity to introduce to race fans the finest small engine fuel on the market.”
“VP Racing Fuels has had a reputation for the best performing racing fuels for all disciplines in North America and Canada for many years,” said Tom Curley, long time promoter of Thunder Road. “In addition, VP’s innovative Lane Choice traction compound has helped provide exciting two and three-wide racing, especially for older race tracks like Thunder Road. Now with its introduction of VP Small Engine Fuel, they’ve developed the perfect solution for all of us who use 4-cycle or 2-cycle outdoor power equipment.”
The Vermont Governor’s Cup 150 presented by VP Small Engine Fuel is scheduled at Thunder Road Speedbowl Thursday, July 10, 2014 and will include NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Clint Bowyer from Emporia, Kansas.
