ALLEN LUMBER STREET STOCKS

Bunker Hodgdon (#83) Hardwick, VT: While Bunker did not add to his win list in 2011, he did pull off 14 top tens and five podium finishes on his way to finishing third in overall points.  The former Junkyard Warrior Champion is no stranger to victory lane and will be driving the car of 2011 Champ and brother-in-law, Greg Adams Jr. in 2012.  With a checkered history and last year’s championship car, Hodgdon becomes an early favorite for the title.

Troy Kingsbury (#39) Waitsfield, VT: Kingsbury was the surprise of 2011 in the Street Stock Class.  In his first full season he turned many heads finishing in the top ten 11 times and laying claim to his first ever victory at The People’s United Bank Milkbowl.   Fondly nicknamed “The Green Lantern”, due to the green lights attached to the undercarriage of his car, Kingsbury claimed fifth overall in points as well as The Sportsmanship Award.  The popular driver will set his sights on a title in 2012.

Alan Maynard (#10) Fairfax, VT: After a several year absence, Maynard returned to Street Stock action in 2011.  Proving he still had what it takes, Maynard stormed to a sixth place overall finish late in the season on the wings of three straight podium finishes in August alone.  Hungry for his first win, Maynard will be back with a vengeance in 2012.

Nick Pilotte (#11) Jefferson, NH: 2011 marked Pilotte’s first year in the Street Stock Division.  The former White Mountain Motorsports Park champion pulled off his first win at “The ‘Road” in just his second start, and it fueled a historical run at the championship in which he came up just three points shy with a division leading 10 top fives.  With the taste of the 2011 championship still lingering, Pilotte will be hungry for more in 2012.  The road to the 2012 championship will likely have to go through #11.
